Mt. Adnah Cemetery in Fulton is the home of the famous "Cemetery Chicken". Ok, it isn't famous. But it should be. Every summer the cemetery has a chicken bbq to raise money for the upkeep of the cemetery. Eric's mom is involved with this and she invites us to partake in this very tasty tradition. Their bbq is usually in the summer, but this year they decided to have one during the fall as well. And today was the day. With the wonderful bbq'ed 1/2 chicken, you get a side of pasta salad, a side of baked beans, salt potatoes and a roll with butter. It is really quite good. Oh and Eric gets the credit for dubbing it "cemetery chicken".
(The photo was borrowed from somewhere on the internet... It is the correct cemetery, but I don't recall where I found it. I think that blogs are much more interesting with pictures to look at!)
