Alex is turning 11 next week. And he's having a Bowling Party tomorrow. I put myself in charge of creating goodie bags for the kids. 11 is a hard age for boys. All they really want anymore are expensive video games or things for their ipods or some other outrageously priced item. Gone are the days of 99 cent Match Box cars or $1.00 for 100 plastic army men... No more. So gathering items for party favors proved difficult. I consulted several people for ideas, including my almost-11 year old son. And I think I did ok. Candy. All Candy. And fun, creepy candy at that! Wax lips, chocolate eyeballs, gummy body parts... The creepier the better. I got some orange bags at AC Moore and decorated them, attached a fun container of Hershey Kissables, and I was done.
